How leaders and their offices run the day with Smart NetaJi, told by the people who use it.

Even after my terms in the Assembly, people keep coming to the office with their problems and their invitations. With Smart NetaJi nothing waits on a slip of paper any more: every request is written down once, handed to the right person and followed until it is closed. My team spends its time with the people of Dhaka instead of chasing files.

A state-level office handles a great many programmes and invitations at the same time. Seeing them in one calendar, with who is attending and who is travelling, has saved the team hours every week. When I ask what is pending, the answer takes a minute, and I see the same picture whether I am in Darbhanga or in Patna.

Invitations used to reach us by phone, paper and word of mouth. Now each one lands in a single place, the office decides in minutes and the right driver is already on the way. Complaints from the constituency are assigned the same day, and I can see which ones are still waiting.

We write a post once and it goes out to every channel together. When I go live, one stream reaches everyone, and the recording is ready for the team as soon as it ends.

Every complaint in my ward has a name against it and a date. Nothing is lost between the field staff and my desk, and the residents hear back.

Booths, volunteers and tasks are on one screen. I can see which booth has gone quiet and which houses have been visited, without making a single phone call.

Events, social media and the campaign in one place changed how the office works: one sign-in, one calendar and one clear picture of the constituency.
